Harmony is experienced with commercial finance litigation and enforcement. She boasts an undefeated trial record. During the pandemic, she made virtual appearances in court, winning 16 trials. She is a veteran of the U.S. Army First Infantry Division, where she served as a soldier and broadcast journalist (46R) overseas. She excels at emotionally intelligent communications with defendants, opposing counsel, and judges to arrive at quick and efficient resolutions, effectively helping her clients meet their goals. Harmony graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a B.A. in Law and Society. She earned her Juris Doctor degree at Santa Clara Law, where she received a High Tech Law Certificate with Honors. She's been a member of the CA Bar since 2016, and she is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of CA. Harmony's practice focuses on pre-judgment recovery of collateral, litigation (e.g. breach of contract and fraud), and enforcement actions to collect on wages, bank accounts, vehicles, and real estate.
Harmony serves on ELFA's Innovation Advisory Council and on ELFF's fraud research steering committee. She also leads Oswald Law Firm's research and publications, and the firm has been published by Monitor Daily, AACFB Commercial Break, NEFA Newsline, Dealmaker Magazine, EL&F Magazine, and Equipment Finance Advisor. In May 2022, Harmony was a guest speaker at the AACFB Annual Conference (Charlotte, NC) at their"fraud roundtable." In Oct. 2023, she was a guest speaker at the NEFA Funding Symposium on AI / Fraud (San Antonio, TX), and at the ELFA 62nd Annual Convention on two panels- AI / legal issues + AI / fraud (Phoenix, AZ). In May 2024, Harmony was a guest speaker at the ELFA Legal Forum on AI 101 (Scottsdale, AZ).
Harmony has been married for over 21 years, and she's the mother of two amazing young adults- a daughter who is a current vet student at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and a son who is a current law student at UC College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly known as UC Hastings). Outside of her work as a litigator, Harmony enjoys entrepreneurship, travel, art, books, autumn, hiking, the beach, and spending time with family.
